Second division soccer team Hannover 96 has signed defender Bright Arrey-Mbi on loan. The 20-year-old joins Bayern Munich on a free transfer and has signed a two-year contract with an option for an additional year.
Last season, 96 loaned out the former U19 international, who made 15 appearances in the second division.
“He’s physically strong, clever in tackles and exceptionally fast for a central defender,” said 96 sporting director Marcus Mann in praise of the central defender, who was born in Cameroon and trained at Chelsea.
