Till Lindemann thanks his fans at the last Munich concert

The 60-year-old only addressed the allegations of abuse indirectly.

At the last of the four Rammstein concerts in Munich’s Olympic Stadium on June 11, singer Till Lindemann once again addressed his fans. As with the two previous shows, the 60-year-old did not directly address the allegations against him. “Four concerts in this stadium. With you, through you. perfect moments. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. From the bottom of my heart, thank you,” he said. You can see a fan recording of the speech here.

Before the show on June 11, there were reports of clashes between Rammstein fans and counter-demonstrators, but there were no major incidents. The band itself spent the time in Munich in the five-star Hotel Bayerischer Hof.

Till Lindemann does not usually speak to the audience at his band’s concerts. In Munich he did this several times: at the second concert on June 8th he said that the “storm” would pass. And he also commented on the allegations of abuse at the third Olympic Stadium gig. “The third concert … and I really don’t know what to say,” Lindemann began. “I am incredibly grateful that you are here. Thank you. We thank you.”
