The police and the FSB have blocked a major channel for the supply of heroin to Russia from Central Asia. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev at a meeting of the collegium of the department with the participation of the president, says on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“Together with the Federal Security Service, the channel for the supply of heroin to the Moscow region, the Krasnodar Territory, the Saratov and Chelyabinsk regions has been blocked. 19 members of the criminal community, including the organizers, were detained. 50 criminal cases have been initiated,” Kolokoltsev said.

In total, the value of the seized drugs – about 75 thousand single doses – is estimated at 185 million rubles.
