The return of former Formula 1 racing driver Nikita Mazepin to the pinnacle of motorsport is becoming increasingly unlikely.
The British judiciary confirmed on Thursday the entry ban for the 24-year-old, whose contract with the Haas racing team was terminated shortly after Russia’s attack on Ukraine.
Mazepin, Mick Schumacher’s teammate at the time, and his father were subsequently put on the sanctions list by the EU and banned from entering the country.
Nikita Mazepin has since taken steps to have the ban lifted. A court hearing is scheduled for July.
