The app is being released in more and more countries and is now also available in the Dutch and Belgian versions of the App Store. Developer OpenAI is also working on an Android version of the ChatGPT app, which should be released “soon”.
The chat history within ChatGPT is synchronized between all devices where the user is logged in. ChatGPT Plus subscription users also have access to reduced response times, the more advanced GPT-4 language model, and early access to new features through the app.
There are currently several unofficial ChatGPT apps from third-party developers available in the app stores for iPhones and Android devices. Some offer similar functionalities, but also warn against rogue apps.
