The wrapper warns of a scam: “This is not me”

A fake profile has been made of the wrapper, whose publications do not correspond to the artist’s real opinions.

A phenomenally popular artist Wrapper, 29, vacationed for more than a week in the Maldives. Based on the musician’s Instagram stories, the artist returned from vacation yesterday, May 29.

Now Käärijä warns about a fake profile circulating about him in his Instagram stories, which can be seen 24 hours after publication. The profile in question uses the name Käärijä King.

– This is not me. Please report this Twitter user, Käärijä writes in his Instagram story.

The fake profile in question, which names itself as a parody user, was created in April 2023, i.e. about a month before Eurovision. A fake profile has published a hate comment directed at the Eurovision winner Loreen, for example, in the name of Käärijä.

In reality, Käärijä has not published a single hate comment about Loreen, but the artist has even befriended her backstage at the Eurovision Song Contest. The artist has even defended Loreen in an interview with Aftonbladet, when the Swedish artist has faced a lot of anger with his five-time victory. Among other things, Loreen has been criticized for winning Eurovision with the support of the professional jury, even though Käärijä was a clear favorite of the audience.

– It is sad. It’s not Loreen’s fault. Loreen did her best and gave her all. I don’t understand why people are angry with him, Käärijä thought in Aftonbladet.

In addition, the fake profile has, among other things, a publication in Spanish and fond posts related to the Italian visa representative to Marco Mengoni and to the representative of Cyprus to Andrew Lambrou. Käärijä is known to have mostly hung out with the soloist of the Slovenian five-piece band Joker Out by Bojan Cvjetićanin with and has published a lot of pictures of them together on his official Instagram account.

In addition, one publication of the profile promises that if the post gets 100,000 likes and 10,000 shares, Käärijä will represent Finland again at the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest. In reality, Käärijä already made it clear at the opening of the Eurovision Song Contest on the turquoise carpet that he will never participate in the Eurovision Song Contest again.
