In this live blog we will keep you informed of the latest 112 news in Brabant this Monday. Here you will find an overview of accidents, fires and crimes in the province.

07.00 – No trains between Breda and Tilburg University
There have been problems on the track between Breda and Tilburg since last night due to a broken overhead line at Gilze-Rijen. As a result, no trains will run between Breda and Tilburg University this morning. It was expected that the timetable could be resumed this morning at seven o’clock, but that appears not to be the case. The NS now expects that the trains will run normally again around half past eight.

A train may have caused a shower of sparks at Gilze-Rijen last night, which set the verge on fire and damaged the overhead wires. The fire brigade had to come in to put the fire out.

Several riots and annoying incidents brought an early end to the Leurse Havenfeesten in Etten-Leur last night. This is reported by the police on social media. “Unfortunately no festive end for the Leurse Havenfeesten”, the police write.

Riots ensured that the party in the tent ended earlier than intended. The police came to Etten-Leur with several units. The partygoers then left the tent in the words of the police ‘reasonably pleasant’.
