Newcastle qualified for Champions League

Newcastle United are the third team to qualify for the Champions League in the English Premier League, after champions Manchester City and Arsenal.

A 0-0 draw against Leicester City on the penultimate day was enough for Newcastle to qualify for the group stage for the first time since the 2002/03 season.

Leicester, on the other hand, is threatened with relegation seven years after the Sensations championship. The gap to Everton in the first non-relegation zone is two points before the season finale.
