Telekom Baskets Bonn have won a major title for the first time in their club’s history – namely the Champions League. When the team arrived in Bonn on Monday, there was a big celebration.
“Wow, I had goosebumps,” explains Baskets Bonn-Player TJ Shorts, the best player of the season, upon his return from the finals game. “We are grateful for every single fan here in Bonn”. A few fans in Bonn were jubilantly awaiting the bus from Malaga, complete with the freshly crowned Champions League winners.

The whole team is celebrated by the fans. And picks up right where they left off last night after their historic win. Apart from Baskets President Wolfgang Wiedlich – who watched the game on Sunday evening from Bonn with great excitement.
After the Champions League victory, things continue straight away
With a final result of 77:70 points, Telekom Baskets Bonn were able to prevail against Hapoel Jerusalem. The Champions League title is the first in the club’s history.

But the team doesn’t have much time to catch their breath, celebrate or relax. The Baskets continue with the playoffs for the German championship on Wednesday.
