The ten finalists for the Drèents Liedtiesfestival 2023 have been announced. The REUR Foundation is holding the Drèents Liedtiesfestival for the eleventh time, which should ensure that there is a wider range of new Drenthe-language music.
The assessment committee selected ten finalists from twenty entries.
They will compete in the Atlas Theater on May 18 for a cash prize of 2000 euros, with which they can record and release their song. They may also represent Low Saxon at the European Song Contest for Minority Languages during the Suns Europe festival in Udine, Italy later this year.
