Deputy head of the transport department of the Tambov region was killed in the entrance

Deputy Head of the Department of Roads and Transport of the Tambov Region Viktor Vakulchik was found dead in the entrance of an apartment building, reported on the website of the regional department of the Investigative Committee.

56-year-old Vakulchik was found with stab wounds on the landing at the entrance of the house on Astrakhan street in Tambov. The investigation is working out different versions of the motives for the murder, including that the crime could be related to the work of the deceased.

Investigators opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code (murder). Under this article, imprisonment for a term of six to fifteen years is threatened.

In October last year, Andrei Novoseltsev, the former deputy head of the main department for combating economic crimes of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, was found dead. The body of the deceased with stab wounds was found in a bathhouse at a dacha in New Moscow.
