Hospitals in Drenthe are less accessible due to a national malfunction at Vodafone. Calling the emergency number 112 can also be more difficult.
“Due to a national telephone failure, telephone traffic to and from the hospital is not or hardly possible,” writes the Wilhelmina Hospital Assen (WZA).
According to Treant, calls cannot come through properly. “If you want to reach us, make sure you don’t call anonymously. Then we can call you back. Do you need urgent care? Always call 112.”
