Britney Spears took to Instagram yesterday (April 11) to express her displeasure at paparazzi, body shaming and a fitness instructor who made her cry. She posted the lyrics along with a short clip of the singer laughing and dancing to Paula Cole’s “Feelin’ Love” with her midriff bare.
“It’s so beautiful outside and I want to get out more… the paparazzi are everywhere but it’s not nearly as bad as LA,” she wrote. The 41-year-old then described an incident where she was harassed by tabloid photographers who later published photos of her that she didn’t like. “So (as in the pictures, note d. editor) my body doesn’t look like it and I’m not claiming that my body is perfect, but I took the time to find a trainer 2 months ago and the first thing she did to me was literally… and I’m not lying … pinching the skin on my stomach and legs and telling me I need to get my younger body back … why the hell did she do that? It made me cry…that’s why I didn’t hire her,” she said. She trains three times a week for 45 minutes alone and doesn’t need a trainer. Finally, Spears dedicated the post with a wink to those paparazzi and trainers.
Musically, the pop singer was last heard last August. She collaborated with Elton John to release Hold Me Closer, a dance number based on three of the British musician’s famous songs (Tiny Dancer, Don’t Go Breaking My Heart and The One).
