While the world agenda was talking about the tension between Russia and Ukraine, Dynamo Kiev coach Mircea Lucescu also took precautions for his team.
The Guardian and Financial Times reported that Russia would attack Ukraine. According to the US press, one of Russia’s targets in Ukraine will be the capital, Kiev.
After these developments, Mircea Lucescu, who runs Dynamo Kiev, also decided not to take the team to Ukraine.
DINAMO KIEV WILL NOT LEAVE ANTALYA
Dynamo Kiev, which is 2 points behind leader Shakhtar Donetsk in the Ukrainian Premier League, came to Antalya camp at halftime.
The Ukrainian team has been camping in Antalya for about 2 weeks. According to the previous plan, Dynamo Kiev would return to Ukraine from Antalya and make its second camp after taking a break for a few days.
Mircea Lucescu has decided to keep the team in Antalya due to the possibility of war. Lucescu, who went to Romania for a few days, will return to Antalya later.
Dynamo Kiev will not leave Antalya until a second decision.
The second half of the season in Ukraine will start on February 25, if there is no change in plan.
