Tomasz Kaczmarek has been appointed as the new head coach of FC Den Bosch. The 38-year-old Pole signs a contract that binds him to the club for the next two seasons. He succeeds Jack de Gier, who was fired a month ago after Den Bosch’s historic 13-0 defeat against PEC Zwolle.
Kaczmarek was at the helm of the Polish club Lechia Gdansk until September 2022. He was sacked here after a weak start to the season, which saw the club eliminated from the Conference League.
The appointment of the Pole comes as no surprise. At Den Bosch, interim trainer William van Overbeek was temporarily at the helm. He already informed sports channel ESPN that the eye of the club had fallen on Kaczmarek.
Den Bosch is second to last in the first division, from which you cannot be relegated.
