No away fans at duels Feyenoord and AS Roma in Europa League | Dutch football

Feyenoord supporters are not allowed to attend the Europa League match in Rome on April 20. Feyenoord announced this on Tuesday afternoon. Conversely, Roman supporters are not welcome in De Kuip during the match on April 13.

The Italian authorities have decided to ban Feyenoord supporters from the game in Rome. According to the Rotterdam club, the European football association UEFA then instructed Feyenoord not to sell tickets to AS Roma supporters for the first game in De Kuip.

Ticket sales will start on Tuesday for Feyenoord supporters for the home game on Thursday 13 April. Because no AS Roma fans are welcome, the (buffer) sections in the Willem van Hanegem stand and the regular section will also be on sale for Feyenoord supporters.

Feyenoord has recently consulted frequently with AS Roma and UEFA to discuss the options for the quarter-finals of the Europa League. The aim was to make it possible for away supporters to be present during both matches.

For a long time, a number of 1200 away supporters per match seemed feasible, but in the end the Italian authorities decided that no Feyenoord fans were welcome in Rome at all. UEFA has subsequently announced that no Italian supporters are allowed to come to Rotterdam.
