For what purpose did you decide to venture into Carmelo?
Life put us to the test in 2020, when the world was suffering from a pandemic. A well-known phrase was mixed in our talks “In moments of crisis the best ideas emerge”.
Our team, made up of four architects, decided to go to Uruguay to experience life in Carmelo. We were seduced by the proximity, another country, nature, silence, the peace that the place transmits accompanied by the kindness of its inhabitants.
We did an exhaustive analysis of the area to start dreaming: a space for people, where we perceived that their needs could be met to improve their mood, productivity, and lifestyle. This is how we began to design the cabins.
Our objective was to reduce soil and air pollution, improve internal and external comfort, creating visual spaces, experiencing and recreating images so that the occupant can enjoy the place at different times of the year.
We were lucky to be in Punta Gorda in different months of the year, and we perceived beauty in all its expressions, each season touches your soul and we saw our dream reflected there.
As the famous Mies Van Der Rohe said, “We must try to bring nature, houses and human beings closer to a higher unity”.
What are the characteristics of the cabins?
The proposal of the enterprise has two-bedroom cabins of 74 m2, with a wooden deck of 30 m2.
In turn, with 50 m2 loft cabins, with a 20 m2 deck.
All are equipped for four people, with furniture, appliances and turnkey.
The cabins and their surroundings have everything optimal to spend pleasant and unforgettable moments with family and friends.
