The blue and white stop Fiorentina at 2-2 and go through. The Rossonere overwhelm Sampdoria 4-1. Tomorrow the scoreboard will be completed with Roma-Como and Juve-Inter
Milan and Empoli are the first two teams qualified for the semi-finals of the Italian Cup. But if on the passage of the Rossonere’s turn – who had won 4-1 away in the first leg on the Sampdoria field and repeated with the same result – there were few doubts, it is surprising the 2-2 with which the Tuscans eliminated Fiorentina which continues its very complicated season. Tomorrow the scoreboard will be completed: Roma must defend the three goals advantage at home against Como (those who pass face Empoli), while at Vinovo Juventus and Inter will restart from 1-1 two weeks ago.
FIORENTINA-EMPOLI 2-2

MARKERS 14 ‘Nocchi (E), 23’ Dompig (E), 33 ‘(rig.) And 73’ Sabatino (F)
The feat of the day is by Empoli who, thanks to the greater number of away goals (after the 0-0 in the first leg) at the Franchi, eliminates Fiorentina and will play the semifinal against Roma (favorite) or Como . The Viola, on the other hand, miss an important goal and now they will have to focus only on the championship where the classification sees Patrizia Panico’s team close to the relegation zone despite the numerous purchases in the winter market. Empoli took the lead in the 14th minute with the former Nocchi, who punched goalkeeper Schroffenegger on the near post with his right foot. Splendid, however, the doubling of Dompig, on his birthday: right from the edge and ball under the crossbar. Fiorentina went to half-time just one goal down thanks to the penalty converted by Sabatino, with the same striker who, 17 ‘from the end, collected a ball in the center of the area and sent it behind Capelletti. The final assault, however, is useless: the party is all of the girls from Ulderici.
AC MILAN 4-1 SAMPDORIA

MARKERS 2 ‘, 76’ Longo (M), 27 ‘Adami (M), 46’ Stapelfeldt (M), 64 ‘Helmvall (S)
AC Milan took less than a time to secure qualification for the semifinal. After the 4-1 two weeks ago in Bogliasco, Maurizio Ganz’s team beat Sampdoria for the third time in less than a month, including the championship game, and always scoring four goals. At Vismara, the result was unlocked after less than two minutes thanks to the goal of Longo, then Adami – former player in Florence of Antonio Cincotta, now on the Sampdoria bench – on a free kick surprised Soggiu on his post. In the second half, it took less than 30 seconds for the Rossoneri to find the 3-0 goal with a left under the Stapelfeldt crossbar. Wonderful, even if useless, Helmvall’s right-footed shot which is worth the 3-1 for Sampdoria, also because Longo’s brace arrived fifteen minutes from the end.
