Fendi shows fashion show at Pitti Uomo

Italian fashion house Fendi is the next guest brand to host a runway show in Florence as part of Pitti Uomo 104 menswear fair.

The SS24 men’s collection is set to be shown on June 15 at the recently opened Fendi factory, Fendi and exhibition organizer Pitti Immagine announced on Thursday. The opening of the new factory site in Capannuccia, near Florence, is closely linked to Fendi’s participation in the forthcoming Pitti Uomo.

“I’m thrilled that the next Men’s Show will take place in a place so special to me, the beating heart of Fendi, a place that is symbolic of creation, where development, innovation, craftsmanship and production come together under one roof said Silvia Venturini Fendi, Artistic Director of Fendi menswear.

“We have a very special bond with Silvia Venturini Fendi, developed over the years through various projects with which we always support young talents,” added Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine. “Above all, we are admirers of her vision of menswear and the masculine lifestyle, as well as of Silvia Venturini Fendi’s talent for fusing classic elements and radical innovations in a harmonious and modern way. The Fendi event is a precious and symbolic event for Florence and its production fabric.”

In addition to Pitti Immagine, the fashion show was also made possible by the Italian fashion association Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana. As usual, Fendi will present the menswear collection for autumn/winter 2024/25 at Milan Fashion Week.

The summer edition of Pitti Uomo will take place from June 13th to 16th.
