Only board games, bridge and bed at 6 p.m. – that doesn’t seem to be the case for the retirement home “Arcadia Senior Living Bowling Green” in the US state of Kentucky. Instead, the home has set up a TikTok channel where residents regularly participate in fun challenges, including a mimic of Rihanna’s iconic halftime show at this year’s Super Bowl.
In the short video, several elderly women in white clothes step out of the picture one after the other – until finally only one elderly woman in red clothes and with a microphone in her hand can be seen. A remix of Rihanna’s hit “Rude Boy,” which the 35-year-old singer also performed in her comeback performance, plays in the background. The reel has been viewed more than 30 million times so far.

Due to the great popularity, the pop star herself has probably noticed it – and without further ado sent the retirement home a hundred white roses and a message in which she praised the older ladies for their performance. And she wasn’t the only one: Jay-Z, head of Rihanna’s record label Roc Nation, also sent a hundred roses.
