In the future, women will be able to leave their bikini tops at home when they go to the pool. BZ explains what other rules apply.
► Bathing completely naked is taboo – unless it is a textile-free area, such as in the sauna.
► From a bathing suit to a bikini to a burkini and swimming trunks, you can wear whatever you like. Swim shorts may be no more than knee-length.
► If you plan to take a musical instrument or television to the swimming pool, you won’t be able to get in with it.
► Also forbidden: Bringing glass bottles, smoking, shaving, pedicures, manicures, coloring hair.
► Anyone who films other guests without their prior consent must expect consequences.
► Anyone who blocks a lounger with a towel is often in the best of company, but violates the rules of the Berlin public baths.
