The Swiss shoe brand On Running is expanding its range with the first shoe collection for children and teenagers.
The collection is based on the existing models for adults, On announced on Thursday. The focus of the first launch is the models “Cloud Play” for younger children and “Cloud Sky” for teenagers. For this purpose, the “CloudTec” technology was adapted with regard to the biometrics of children. The cushioning system activates at a much lower weight.
Further details such as a reinforced toe cap, which is supposed to offer more protection, and the combination of elastic laces with a Velcro fastener round off the concept for the young target group.
“When developing the shoes, we were inspired by the boundless imagination of children,” said Gérald Marolf, Head of Product at On. “We wanted to create a fun and flexible shoe that encourages movement and therefore creativity. We have adapted our Swiss technology, which is primarily designed for first-class comfort, to survive even the occasional growth spurts of the little ones.”
The new models for children and teenagers have been available since March 2nd.
