The sporting goods group Adidas AG relies on personnel continuity and has retained two executives for the long term. On Thursday, the company announced that the supervisory board had extended the contracts with board members Roland Auschel and Brian Grevy, which expired in 2022, by several years.
Accordingly, Auschel’s contract, who has been responsible for Global Sales on the Group Executive Board since 2013, was extended by two years until the end of 2024. Grevy even received a five-year contract extension until early 2028. He took over the Global Brands board department at the beginning of 2020.
“On behalf of the board of directors, I am pleased to announce the renewal of Roland and Brian’s contracts,” said Thomas Rabe, the group’s chairman of the board, in a statement. “Our long-term ‘Own the Game’ strategy focuses on the consumer. Both Roland and Brian, with their respective divisions, play a key role in realizing this consumer focus. We are convinced that together with the entire Management Board they will continue the successful implementation of our strategy"according to Raven.
