Despite their remote workplace, at least sixteen of the 25 crew members of the Belgian polar base Princess Elisabeth in Antarctica are infected with the corona virus. All crew members are fully vaccinated and must present a negative corona test on arrival at the polar base. That reports the British public broadcaster BBC tonight. Earlier this week it was already reported that infections were detected at the base.
