Nick Gresham takes on the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Hunkemöller. In addition, Dutch lingerie specialist has appointed Samantha Swain as Global Merchandise and Planning Director.
Gresham has been in his new position since early February, Hunkemöller announced on Thursday. Swain will begin her new role on March 8th. With the two new management positions, Hunkemöller wants to “expand the already strong international omnichannel growth”.
Before joining Hunkemöller, Gresham worked as chief financial officer for various companies. He held this position at the British clothing retailer Superdry Plc until autumn 2020. Before that he worked for various UK retailers such as WiggleCRC and Home Retail Group. He takes over for Michael Hitchcock, who left Hunkemöller in November after almost five years, according to his Linkedin profile.
“I am delighted to be joining Hunkemöller, which has an excellent reputation in the fashion industry,” said Gresham. “I am excited to be part of a dynamic team and to contribute to the company’s enormous potential for future success.”
Swain has been Merchandise Director at UK retailers Topshop and Asos for the past ten years. Prior to that, she worked for womenswear brand Dorothy Perkins as a senior merchandiser for 12 years.
“I feel a natural affinity for Hunkemöller, a heritage brand that has a firm eye on the future and genuinely believes in the importance of product and design,” said Swain my previous position at Topshop. Now I’m really looking forward to being part of a team that celebrates women first and enables them to feel their best.”
