The Ukrainian government has called on residents of Bachmut in the east of the country to flee. Russian troops have been trying to take Bachmut for months. The city is under almost continuous fire. “If you are accountable, law-abiding and patriotic citizens, you must leave the city immediately,” Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk told Telegram on Friday.
