Nicknamed the “island of love” by tourists, the heart-shaped islet is now partially sold to potential buyers of development projects. The owner already expects that it will be a very popular piece of land.
The island has no hotels or restaurants but is visited every summer by celebrities such as Beyonce, who hosted her 39th birthday party there. “She’s there for several days or even weeks every year, Michael Jordan was there last year, Jeff Bezos too. There is no shortage of celebrities in that area,” says Silvestro Kardum, a representative of the owner.
Galesnjak is about 142,000 square meters in size and about 40,000 square meters of this is now for sale for 13 million euros. The proceeds of the sale are invested elsewhere in the local community, it sounds.
