Suspect foiled Miss election attack arrested

Possibly Peter C. wanted to attack the pageant of Miss Belgium. That event took place on Saturday evening in Plopsaland in De Panne. The man was arrested nearby. He was armed.

The investigating judge has not yet made a decision about the Dutch woman who was in the company of Peter C., according to the public prosecutor’s office. The suspect must now appear before the council chamber of the court of first instance in Bruges within five days.
