The Leekster Eagles/Amysoft managed to win the away match against ZVV Eindhoven. In the first half, a solid foundation was laid with the 0-1 on which the visitors could build further in the second half. The Leeksters ran out to a 1-3 victory. Head coach Bas Lulofs spoke of a very important victory.
In a first half, in which the Leekster Eagles had many smaller chances, it didn’t seem like they would score for a long time. Eight seconds before the half-time signal, the visitors again seemed to fail in finishing when Yoshua St. Juste and Getuar Derguti came up against the keeper in the same attack. In the third instance, Yoshua St. Juste managed to hit the target and put the Leekster Eagles on a justified 0-1 halftime score.
Due to a smooth goal against in the second company, it seemed to go wrong for the Leekster Eagles. However, the visitors quickly regained control. The 1-2 was delayed until two minutes before the end. Yoshua St. Juste signed from a corner with a beautiful volley for his second of the evening.
After ZVV Eindhoven took a risk by playing with a flying keeper, Yoshua St. Juste managed to complete his hat-trick in an empty goal and set the final score at 1-3. Bas Lulofs was delighted afterwards. ,,We were again the parent party. We train hard on standard situations and then it’s nice that this pays off”.
Lulofs was cautious about the upcoming home match against AGOVV. “It is close in this relegation group. We also approach that match as a final, but if we win it too, we keep our eyes on the first place”.
