Clear victory against FC Sevilla

FC Barcelona took advantage of Real Madrid’s blunder and extended their lead over the defending champions in Spain’s LaLiga. The Catalans won 3-0 (0-0) against FC Sevilla on Sunday evening and are now eight points ahead of the “Royal”.

Real had surprisingly lost 0-1 (0-1) at RCD Mallorca. An early own goal by central defender Nacho Fernández (13th) made the decision on the holiday island. The “Royal” had the best chance to equalize with a penalty kick, but Mallorcan-born Marco Asensio missed the point in the 60th minute. Mallorca’s Predrag Rajković saved the ball after conceding the penalty earlier and is also one of the goalkeepers with the most clean sheets with eight clean sheets.
