Team captain Dominik Kohr from FSV Mainz 05 suffered a bruised rib in the Bundesliga game at 1. FC Union Berlin (1:2). This was announced by Mainz sports director Martin Schmidt after the game.
Kohr was treated shortly after half-time and substituted in the 56th minute. It was initially unclear how long the 29-year-old would have to take a break.
