Throughout his career Ornella Vanoni (born in 1934 and active since 1956) she took part in eight Sanremo Festivals, finishing second in 1968 with the song Casa Bianca. In 2018 she returned to Sanremo competing with the song Learn to Love with Bungaro and Pacifico coming fifth. She also had been a guest in 2021 in the Festival always conducted by Amadeus. During her career she is the only artist to have won the Premio Tenco twice, only Francesco Guccini has been awarded twice.

Amadeus confirms with Ornella Vanoni the desire to bring the artists who have made the history of Italian music to the Sanremo Festival.
