The 34-year-old Nainggolan is currently a free agent, as Royal Antwerp just terminated the scrappy midfielder’s contract.

Nainggolan has not played since mid-October. The Belgian club suspended the man at the time when he was smoking an electronic cigarette on the bench in the middle of the game.

– There are players like Luka Modric, who is still in good shape even at the age of 36. Then there are players who are no longer doing very well in their thirties. Radja is one of them, Gheysens stated.
Nainggolan’s career has undoubtedly been in quite a downward spiral in recent years, and the man has not been seen in the Belgian national team since 2018.
– I think his story has been patted, despite all the talent. He is no longer able to live as disciplined as a top athlete, Gheysens estimates.
Despite everything, according to the man, several clubs abroad were interested in the midfielder’s services, and Nainggolan’s new address is being found in Italy.
SPAL is currently in Serie B, Italy’s second highest tier, ranked 14th.
