Jeremy Renner shared an update on his health after his snow plow accident on Instagram. In the picture, the actor can be seen stretched out in a hospital bed. Next to him is probably a physiotherapist who bends and treats Renner’s right leg. The 52-year-old wrote: “I want to thank everyone for their messages and attention.”
In the post, he reported on the injuries he sustained in his accident. He broke more than 30 bones. “You will heal and get stronger. As is love and connection with family and friends,” the Avengers star wrote.
Renner was hit by a snowplow on New Year’s Day and taken to hospital with serious injuries. For a long time he was in a critical condition and had to be operated on several times. After three weeks of medical treatment, however, he is said to have been back home for a few days.
The actor is best known for playing Marvel superhero Hawkeye. He played the character in Thor and the Avengers series, among others. On Disney+ he got his own series with “Hawkeye”.
