Into the final without dropping a set
In terms of sheer results, Aryna Sabalenka has even more to offer than her opponent. The Belarusian played her way into this final without losing a set and won all games extremely clearly. With Belinda Bencic, however, Sabalenka only had one opponent from the top 25. Nevertheless, the 24-year-old showed impressive performances and, after her fourth Grand Slam semi-final, is now in a final for the first time.

favourites
Elena Rybakina had to deal with very strong opponents for long stretches of the tournament. She beat four top 25 players and three former Grand Slam winners on her way to the final. She only lost one sentence. Above all, the clear victory against Iga Swiatek showed the potential of Elena Rybakina, who has already served 44 aces and wants to use her greatest weapon, the serve, today. The Kazakh is in a Grand Slam final for the second time, last year she won the final in Wimbledon.
