Eintracht Frankfurt: Borré consultant raises allegations – offers rejected

River Plate and Tigres court

The fronts between Eintracht Frankfurt and Rafael Borré seem to be hardening more and more. While the 27-year-old allegedly wants to leave the SGE, the Hessians have made no attempt, at least so far, to give in to other clubs. “Frankfurt had promised to give him minutes and they didn’t deliver. In this way he can lose his place in the national team,” denounced agent Martín Araoz on the broadcaster.TyC Sports” on.

It is known so far that the Mexican top club Tigres UANL and ex-club CA River Plate are courting Borré’s services. “River has known about Rafa’s awkward situation for a while, that they don’t respect him because it’s one thing not to play and another to only let him play for three or four minutes. Rafa didn’t deserve it because he achieved a lot last season.”

While Borré shot Eintracht to the Europa League title with his goals last season, the striker has to be content with the role of back-up behind newcomer Randal Kolo Muani (24) this season. The Colombian has played 23 times in his shadow, but only in seven games in the starting XI. With just one goal and three assists, the goal threat has also suffered.

Eintracht Frankfurt rejects initial offers for Borré

River Plate’s offer was a loan. “The first answer is of course no, but we are working on it. In principle, they don’t want to lend it, but we have to find a way,” says Araoz, whose protégé can imagine returning and would even forego salary. According to “sports1“Eintracht ruled out a loan in principle. Only with a purchase offer of at least 12 million euros are the Frankfurters willing to talk.

Tigres is said to be considering a firm commitment, with the initial offer said to have amounted to $10 million. The latest offer came from Mexico “and was rejected,” Araoz said. “But it’s not about the money, it’s about finding the best financially and sportingly. We have to look for the best for everyone.” This is a development from day to day, “we’ll see what will happen.”

The “pictureMeanwhile, reports that the SGE Borrés adviser Ton Caanen informed that there is actually no intention to let the attacker go – only with a sum in the double-digit millions. Araoz is even unknown in Frankfurt. Before his free transfer to Frankfurt in the summer of 2021, Borré had reportedly realigned himself with the agency Alfa Management, which has CAA Base Ltd as a partner for the European market. Caanen belongs to the latter agency, while Araoz works for “Alfa Management”. Thus, both players’ agents should belong to the Borré side.
