Young Mother Arrested For Infanticide & Guilty Negligence
This is shown by the autopsy performed by the West Flanders public prosecutor’s office. The young mother, a 23-year-old woman, was questioned this morning. The investigating judge officially arrested her this afternoon for infanticide and guilty neglect.
These are sad facts that take place in the district, Blauwe Poort, in the north of Bruges near the Blankenbergsesteenweg. A young woman of 23, herself still a member of a large family, kills her newborn baby. The public prosecutor’s office receives a message the day before yesterday, Tuesday evening, that a baby’s body has been found.
