A motorist was injured in a single-vehicle accident near Hooghalen this morning. The driver drove his car into a tree along the Laaghalerveen.
The victim was taken to hospital by an ambulance with unknown injuries. The car probably hit a tree and then came to rest against another tree.
It is not known what caused the accident. Accidents have occurred more often on the Laaghalerveen in recent years. In March 2019, a car with four occupants collided with a tree, killing two men and a third occupant died a day later.
