Gordon canceled Frank Dane’s afternoon show. The TV star is quite disappointed with his performance at Op1 and therefore did not feel like a radio interview. “He didn’t like it very much.”
The 54-year-old Gordon is currently in the Netherlands especially to promote his new TV programs on SBS 6, but he does not enjoy it. He started his media tour last night in the talk show Op1, but his statements about Qatar were not well received. One of the other table guests decided to leave.
Gordon calls off
It gives Radio 538 star Frank Dane a cancellation. He started his radio show this afternoon at four o’clock somewhat disappointed. “I wonder out loud today: which show would be more fun? The show we had or the one we’re going to do? We had a show, we could throw it away. And now we have a show, but which one is more fun?”
He explains: “We had Gordon and we had Louis van Gaal and we had been looking forward to that for weeks. We were supposed to have Louis van Gaal in the show today and Gordon, but they both canceled, really an hour before the show.”
Out of bed early
Sidekick Jelte van der Goot thinks it’s a shame. “What a waste. I’ve never gotten out of bed so quickly this morning. I thought: today is the day.”
Frank then: “That is not true what you are saying now. You didn’t have to get out of bed early, because everything was already arranged. Everything had really been under construction for weeks, but okay.”
‘He is fed up with Op1’
Why did the gentlemen cancel? Frank: “Louis van Gaal couldn’t today and Gordon called off, because he didn’t have a great time at Op1 yesterday and is like: it can all be stolen from me.”
In the end it was decided to invite John van den Heuvel and Martin Garrix for today’s show. “Arranged within 15 minutes.”
Support from Yvonne
Gordon doesn’t get much support, but Yvonne Coldeweijer does. The juice queen maintains a good relationship with the troubled TV star. She is annoyed at the lady who walked away from the table at Op1.
Yvonne: ′′ What a poser ?. Just open your mouth and say what you think. I find that running away from talk shows lately so dramatic.”
