The supporters of volleyball team Lycurgus will see a somewhat different Auke van de Kamp than they were used to in the first game of the eighth final of the CEV Cup in the Alfa-college Sports Center. The former crowd favorite, who played for about five seasons with the Groningen premier league player, has recently acquired a black moustache. ,,I have a mustache as part of No Shave November (to raise awareness for cancer in men, ed.)”, says the 27-year-old passer-runner, who is in his second season at SVG Lüneburg . ,,I painted it black, because otherwise you can’t see it, haha. My roommate had some paint left. We both enjoyed painting our mustaches. It doesn’t look like much, but it was funny. During the game I keep it on for a while, but then I shave it off. Maybe the mustache will bring you luck.”
