Works street gas explosion are shut down by order of prosecutor’s office

Two seriously injured
On October 13, the heavy gas explosion happened on the corner of Christinastraat and Ooststraat. Two people were seriously injured. The explosion may have happened when an employee hit a gas pipe during the works.
The public prosecutor’s office has prohibited the continuation of the works in the affected zone. This is necessary for the investigation into the circumstances of the explosion.
