Özcan Akyol is being ridiculed today in the podcast of Gijs Groenteman and Marcel van Roosmalen. They portray the presenter as someone who has stupid humor.
More than a year ago, Özcan Akyol was a guest in the Media Inside program of presenters Gijs Groenteman and Marcel van Roosmalen, but apparently that did not go well. Since then Gijs and Özcan have been fighting each other like ruffs and Özcan in particular does not miss any opportunity to attack the other.

Recently, Özcan has consistently referred to Gijs as Gijs Groenteboer instead of Gijs Groenteman, for example last Monday in Today Inside. And Gijs and Marcel think that’s pretty stupid humor, they showed in their podcast this morning Another Day.
It’s a bit sad, says Marcel. “He doesn’t get any further than consistently mispronouncing your name: Greengrocer. I don’t really know which is smaller: his sense of humor or his resilience. It seems to be something terrible for him if we have a mini success in the form of a compliment from Johan Derksen.”
‘Very nice!’
What does Gijs think about Özcan always calling him Greengrocer? Sarcastic: “That’s very nice. I think it’s a strong joke to call me Greengrocer.”

Gijs: “Oh yes, because that was his joke about Waylon who had erection problems and then he took that gel with him. Well, that’s incredibly funny.”

Marcel: “But I think Groenteboer is funnier.”
Gijs: “Greengrocer is the funniest. That is also a joke that is consistently kept up and every time he says it it gets more fun. That you really think: how did they get on and how funny. It’s nice that they don’t seem to know my name. That’s so funny.”
Marcel: “Greengrocer! haha!”
Gijs: “How did you get that, huh?”

Gijs: “Yes, but you can also turn that into a greengrocer. It just sounds a bit crass, so it’s just funny to say that.”
