Eva Jinek returns to the tube tonight after a week of corona break, but not everyone is enthusiastic about that. She has disqualified herself, says Yvonne Coldeweijer.
Due to a corona infection, Eva Jinek was absent for a week from her talk show on RTL 4. She was replaced by Beau van Erven Dorens, who had a turbulent raid thanks to the table sticker. Just before she called in sick, Eva also had a much-discussed guest, namely Glennis Grace. That interview drew a lot of criticism.

Yvonne Coldeweijer is also disappointed in how Eva handled that conversation. “I think it’s so strange that the journalist who has to do his job actually renounces and that the people in my ‘DM’, just normal Dutch people, sharp as a knife to be. From: ‘Glenda says this, why doesn’t Jinek say that?’”
Eva has dropped quite a few stitches, Yvonne thinks. How did that happen? “I do not know. I think it’s just done with Jinek. I thought the whole show was really bad anyway. Oh, how bad”, she says in The Juice Show.

In fact, Eva should have put someone against Glennis who is critical of her file, such as crime journalist John van den Heuvel, Yvonne thinks. Why wasn’t he there? “Yes, of course that was asked. This is the game in the media. Constantly chatting with each other. So you see that continuously.”
Yvonne herself, who at the time had the scoop on Glennis’ misconduct, would not have wanted to sit there. “I get sweaty buttocks when I have Glenda in front of me with that screaming mouth. It’s just a Tok.”
What does Eve say?
In the meantime, Eva has announced that she is looking forward to her comeback tonight, but she has also enjoyed her corona-free week. “The slowness of real life, I had all the time this week and, paralyzed by corona, rest for my body.”
She continues: “I’ve been lying or leaning a lot, I’ve started four books at once – very good ones, by the way, which I’ll tell you more about soon – and most of all I’ve been able to spend more time with my Pax.”
