Reluctant to extend
Evan Ndicka is one of nine professionals at Eintracht Frankfurt with a contract ending in 2023. So far, the central defender has hesitated with an extension at SGE, an ultimatum has not yet been given to the most valuable player in the squad of the Europa League winner, with a market value of 32 million euros. If he decides against further cooperation by winter, the Hessians would let the Frenchman go for a fee in January so as not to lose him for free in the summer.
As the “picture“ reported, the Frankfurt are ready to talk from around 15 million euros. This would put Ndicka, who came from AJ Auxerre for EUR 5.5 million in 2018, in fourth place among the most expensive departures in the history of Eintracht and push his former teammate Filip Kostic (29) down one place.
4x over 10 million transfer fee: Most expensive sales by Eintracht Frankfurt
In the future, the two could appear again in a team. Because Juventus Turin has been interested in Ndicka for some time. AC Milan and Arsenal have also been linked with the left-footed player who has made 156 appearances for SBU, scoring ten goals and providing nine assists.

This season he is back in Eintracht’s defense and, with 1,523 minutes of play, is the field player with the most playing time after his neighbor Tuta (23; 1,556′). In addition to the duo, the Hessians have four other trained central defenders in their squad. The working papers of the in-form Daichi Kamada (26) and the loan players Ansgar Knauff (20, BVB), Luca Pellegrini (23, Juventus) and junior Dina Ebimbe (21, PSG) also end in 2023. The SGE has a purchase option of EUR 6.5 million for the Parisian home-grown team, which should apply if they stay up in the league.
