Friedemann, best known as the singer of the hardcore band COR, will release his sixth solo album “Naiß” in 2023. A series of videos will follow the record, starting with “I love to hike” with a personal story.

In the press text, Friedemann explains the private background to the song title, which at first glance sounds simple. The musician writes about his friend Gabor, who is now paralyzed after suffering a broken neck: “There is a sticker on his wheelchair that says ‘I love to hike’. Walk without legs, fly without wings. Dreaming the impossible possible – that is Gabor. Inspirational – and that’s why this song exists.”

On October 30th, a documentary about friend Gabor and his life after the broken neck will also appear on MDR.

Friedemann live this year

  • October 22: WOTUFA Riot & Passion Festival, Neustadt/Orla
  • October 28: Old School, Halle
  • November 25: Vesperkirche, Lüneburg
