The largest open-air theater in the Netherlands is to be built on the Schildmeer, in the middle of the earthquake zone. Five thousand visitors fit in it, almost seven times as many as in the Stadsschouwburg in Groningen. The theatre, in the form of an open piece of earth, is intended as a reminder of the gas extraction past. Maybe there will also be a 4D beef house, there you can real life experience what an earthquake feels like. And a bed and breakfast, where you can experience the trembling at night.
