Man dies after falling from seven stories high

The accident happened around noon in an office tower on the Westwing Park in Roeselare. A Romanian man from Aalter was working on the construction site when he fell seven floors through a shaft. The emergency services rushed to the spot and the man was taken to AZ Delta. His condition was critical at the time.

The Supervision and Welfare at Work Department will investigate the exact circumstances of the industrial accident. The man has since passed away.
