Next week, everyone aged 40 to 60 will have the opportunity to make an appointment for the repeat jab at planjeprik.nl. The following week, it is the turn of all the over 12s. The possibility to make an appointment goes step by step from old to young. The repeat shot protects against serious illness and hospitalization due to the coronavirus. This is especially important for people with fragile health. That is why people aged 60 and older, people younger than 60 who are also eligible for the flu shot and healthcare workers are the first to be personally invited for the repeat shot. The final invitation letters to these groups will be sent out this week. Subsequently, people under the age of 60 can make an appointment for the repeat injection. This will be done in phases in order to make it as fast and controlled as possible. And to leave enough space for people with vulnerable health and healthcare workers who have not had the opportunity to get the repeat shot before.
