On October 10, 2021, four members of ASICS FrontRunner and their local guide reached the end of a seven-day challenge: Running from one Lesotho border to another.

This week, ASICS has published online the documentary “Uplifting Trails Border to Border Lesotho“, which is now available on YouTube. From tears to joyful celebrations, the documentary shows all the emotions involved in running a marathon a day for seven days in a rowan unbreakable bond between runners and the uplifting power trail running has on body and mind.

Four members of ASICS FrontRunner, from the UK, Norway and South Africajoined the local Olympian Tstotang Maine to tour the lesotho trailsa small country surrounded by South Africa that is known due to its high altitude and demanding terrain. Departing from the capital, Maseru, traveled a total of 250 kilometerstesting their physical and mental resistance.

Edward Clarksonan ASICS FrontRunner member from the UK, told us about his experience: “The Uplifting Trails Lesotho expedition was the most rewarding and exhilarating of my life“, and continued, “The team experienced incredible ups, unimaginable downs and a tremendous sense of pride in completing the border-to-border expedition.” The documentary “Uplifting Trails Border to Border Lesotho” has been produced in collaboration with Iconic Agency. It is the brand’s fourth documentary to immerse members of its running community on a journey from border to border and is available online from February 1.
