The 23-year-old won against Romania’s Ana Bogdan 7: 6 (7: 5), 6: 2. In the next round, the Dortmund player meets either the Russian Kamilla Rakhimova or Olga Danilovic from Croatia.
On the other hand, Tamara Korpatsch was eliminated after the first match. The 27-year-old from Kaltenkirchen lost against Dayana Yastremska from Ukraine 6:3, 4:6 and 7:5.
